SXO Scans

Three scans. Three different answers.

Every scan on this page reads a live website and returns something different. The Tech Scan tells you what a site is built with. The CRM Scan tells you what it is missing. The Deep Site Scan tells you what to fix on your own site, in the order to fix it. Pick by the question you are actually asking — your first scan is free and needs no account.

What each scan actually does

Tech Scan

What is this site built with?

Point it at any domain and it returns the full fingerprint: CMS and framework, CRM, email and marketing automation, analytics and ad pixels, payments, hosting, security headers, email spoofability, and whether AI crawlers are allowed in. Every detection names the evidence it matched, so you can defend it on a call.

CRM Scan

What is this site missing?

The same engine pointed at the gap instead of the stack. It confirms whether a site runs a CRM at all, whether anything captures a lead, whether follow-up automation exists, and whether they can even measure what they lose — then scores the opportunity so you can sort a whole prospect list by who to call first.

Anyone selling CRM, automation or marketing services to new clients who needs a reason to call.

Deep Site Scan

How good is my own site?

The deepest scan we run on your own site: 33 checks across nine categories — crawlability, AI access, content, metadata, structured data, social, speed, mobile and conversion — returned as one prioritised punch-list. Not a score to feel bad about; a list your web team can work through in order.

Built for
Owners and marketers who want to know exactly what is wrong — and agencies reporting to clients.

Which one do I need?

The rest of the scans

Three more, for when you already know what is wrong or you are watching more than one site.

The rest of the job — CRO9

SXO finds it and fixes it once. CRO9 keeps it fixed.

A scan is a photograph. Sites drift — pages get added, copy gets edited, scores slide back. CRO9 is the same work running continuously, on every page, publishing to the live site.

Every page, on a schedule

SXO fixes the page you point it at. CRO9 works through the whole site and keeps going — new pages included, without anyone remembering to ask.

It publishes the fix, not a PDF

Approved copy is written back to the live site through the CRO9 helper or the WordPress plugin. No ticket, no developer, no waiting for a deploy window.

Proof, not promises

Audit & Deploy rescans the same pages after publishing and shows the before and after score, so you can see what the change actually bought.

Questions people ask before they scan

What is the difference between the Tech Scan and the CRM Scan?

They read the same live page and report opposite things. The Tech Scan tells you everything a site runs — CMS, CRM, analytics, ads, payments, hosting, email authentication and security headers. The CRM Scan ignores the stack and reports the gap: no CRM, no lead capture, no follow-up automation, no tracking — and scores how big the opportunity is. Use the Tech Scan to understand a prospect, the CRM Scan to find one.

Which scan should I run on my own website?

The Deep Site Scan. It runs 33 checks across nine categories and returns a prioritised punch-list you can hand to whoever maintains your site. If you only want the headline number first, the free SXO Score gives you a single 0–100 AI-readiness grade in about ten seconds, and you can go deeper afterwards.

Do I need an account to run a scan?

No. Your first Tech Scan and your first SXO Score both run without an account. Creating a free account adds two more scans, and after that scans run on credits that never expire or on a monthly plan.

How accurate is the technology detection?

Every detection names the evidence that produced it — a script URL, a cookie, a header, a class name — and the fingerprint is matched against a page’s markup rather than its visible text, so a site that merely mentions a tool in its copy is never reported as running it.

Can I scan a list of domains instead of one at a time?

Yes. The Tech Scan and CRM Scan both take a CSV of domains, scan each one, and return a sortable sheet with the stack, the gaps and an opportunity score for every row. The Deep Site Scan is deliberately one site at a time, because its output is a punch-list rather than a row.

What does a scan cost?

Your first scan is free. After that, credits start at $0.25 per scan in the larger packs and never expire, or a monthly plan includes an allowance that refills each cycle. The Deep Site Scan is free to run, with deeper written reports from $49.

What is the difference between SXO and CRO9?

SXO is the diagnosis and the one-off repair: scan a site, get the fix list, buy a page rewrite. CRO9 is the same work running continuously — it holds your site metadata, rewrites and republishes to the live site on a schedule, and rescans afterwards to show the before and after. Use SXO to find out where you stand; use CRO9 when you want it handled every day without asking.

Do these scans work on any website?

Any site that is publicly reachable. The scanners read the live page exactly as a browser or an AI crawler would, so nothing needs to be installed and you do not need access to the site you are scanning.

Start with the free one.

Scan your own site for nothing and see the grade, or point the Tech Scan at a prospect and read their whole stack before you pick up the phone. No account either way.
